Habitat for Humanity Brant is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International founded in 1976.

Habitat Brant was incorporated in 1998 and built its first home in the summer of 1999.

Each home built helps to finance the construction of another home.

The ReStore in Brantford opened in September 2002 and has diverted 230 tones of material from local landfill.

The organization has established a good working relationship with the City of Brantford and many agencies and individuals within the communities of Brantford and Brant County.
